Pattern Play - Day 1 - Part 2

I truly enjoy the online classes at Pattern Play... the only issue is given my schedule I am running late so trying  my best to come up with cards based on the tips and techniques I understand at the class

Jennifer Mcguire taught us 4 simple techniques which we could could on cards with pattern paper.
So with a selection of 4 pattern papers you could get 4 different looks..

I tried out the matting effect and here is what I came up with...

I cant believe that I used 4 papers on this one and it still looks so clean...

This sentiment I selected because I wanted to dedicate this card to the crafter's who inspire me and I cant imagine my crafting journey with out them

Paru Mahtani of Paru's Perception - for the genuine person you are, ever ready to share
Tejal Mehta of Creative Expressions - from you I learn every day... What would I do without you..
Seema Luthra of Passion for Creation - you push me to do more and add value to whatever I do
Meghna Sakhalkar of Kraft Angle - you are genuine in whatever you say and do and I really appreciate that.

Thanks guys.

Since this was a tri-fold card did some basic stamping and used a PP and Twine to finish off

So lots of posting going to happen here....

and this is something I read today and hope you like it too

“I was smiling yesterday,
I am smiling today
and I will smile tomorrow.
Simply because life is too short to cry for anything.”

So have a SMILING day ahead

God bless

Baby Shower Book - Part 1

I have made an observation that when work flows in... it all comes together...

You will have so much on your hands that you have to make day and night one to complete it...

The Baby shower book that I am showing you today was one such order.

Required to be completed in 2 days flat... It was a big task to take on...

Amidst the order of Tissue pom poms I worked on this book too... You can check out a tutorial for the Pom Pom at Beyond Grey Challenges

I was given a size specification for this book 5" X 7" and a page for every guest to write in along with a photo page at the back...

So here is what I came up with...
******** HEAVY PICTURE POST******
Entering this page to the challenges

I want to thank Meghna for the work she did in Corel Draw and most of all for sharing it with me. It was of great help in bringing this album together

Another reason to thanks MEghs is the fact that she inspires me to try out making flaps and little tags and folders in my scrapbook...

Pattern paper from We are memory keepers.

I love this stamp "cute as a button" and end up using it on all my baby projects. Buttons from my store too.

Special thanks to Riti Poddar for the stamped images she sent me when I was starting out... Been Hoarding those for a long long time now

Crystal stickers from Itsy Bitsy... I love those monkeys..

Flower Pot with a Tag ..and the Butterfly Edger punch from Ek Success.

Thanks to Ekta for the Dies... You are the sweetest...

Die cut from Jillibean Soup - Coconut Lime Collection... That collection is awesome with lovely papers and die cuts and stickers...

So here is Part 1 of the Baby Shower Book...

Will put up part 2 soon...

Have a great day

Jovita
