Christmas Special - Day 5 - No Christmas without the Little Baby Jesus

Hi Friends

Sorry for the delay in today's Post... My internet connection was just not helping out from morning... but finally here I am...

Today we are here to bring out the importance of the little baby Jesus - the main focus of Christmas...

In all our festivities and the glitz and glamour that Christmas brings, we often tend to forget the the simple Saviour born on Christmas Day. Today as I bring you this special post I ask you to spread the Love that He brought to us... Share it not only with your friends but with the ones who need it... That is what will make this Christmas Special!!!

To share a special Crib Card we have with us the sweet Meghna Sakhalkar!!!!

"Myself Meghna Sakhalkar, a Fashion Designer by profession but currently a SAHM to an adorable 10 month old angel. I have been drawing and crafting ever since I can remember. Have won several district level drawing competions. My love and passion for creativity made me take up Fashion Designins as a career, which I thoroughly enjoy. I try to take inspiraton from all the things around me. Nature i think is the biggest inspirer ... It has so much new to offer every moment that is so unique in itself.

Christmas in childhood meant 8 days vacation, party at a friends house and yummy cakes to relish. With growing years I understood the true meaning of christmas. I remember making life size Santas for friends with Velvet papers and lots of cotton. I love creating the Crib as much as I love making the mud forts in Diwali . There's so much we can express with out words ...

I have tried to make layered easel card depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. ( Though my sheeps are well fed and too fatty  :D ) ...

Thanks Jovi for inviting me to be a guest blogger . M honoured to share this space with hard core crafters who are so perfect. .."

So that was a lovely creation by Meghna... You can check out her entire collection at Kraft Angle.

So go on Spread the LOVE this Christmas!!!

And be back for the last Special Post tomorrow alongwith some lovely offers at the Creativita Store and please dont miss the Giveaway . Details Here

Tada!!!

Flutter-by's

Since I got my butterfly punch I have been wanting to use it to the max.... When I did not have this punch I had ordered these butterfly cutouts from Kavitha... There were about 20 pieces and I used them in such a miserly way... I just did not want to splurge.... But now that the punch is all mine I have gone overboard.... U have to see this pic...

But more than going overboard I have tried to case one of our very talented bloggers... our very own Tejal.... What I have picked up from the card here is the heart design with butterflies on it... I know I have not done justice to Tejal's card but still....here's my take on it...

Every butterfly has been blinged in a different way... I have used my new tile punch too in this one..

I have made a little stand at the back to give it support so it stands like a frame... Also a little picture can be inserted between the butterflies....

The Sentiment says " Fluttering by to say hello"...
This card I have made for a special blogger friend. She is as fluttery as a butterfly and a very cute person...
I dont wanna mention her name here as I want it to be a surprise... She's gonna get it soon and then you would know...till then...

I am entering this card for the following challenges
Kalalayaa Anniversary Week 3 Challenge - Case an Indian Blogger's Card
Anita's Card for a Friend -  I will mail u the name of the person who I am dedicating and sending this to.

Hope you guys like my blingy fluttery venture... and thanks to Tejal for getting me hooked onto butterflies...

Crochet Flowers Easel Card

Hi guys
The card that I am showing you today combines two of my hobbies; Crochet and Paper Craft...

This card I have made for a very special friend who loves crafts and is very artistic but due to work pressure is unable to find time to do anything Creative... So made this sentiment especially for her...

I am entering this card for the ICR Dhin Chak Photo Inspiration + Handmade embellishment Challenge

I have made Crochet flowers and used quilled flowers for the centre.

Taking inspiration from the many coloured lights on a string... i have made a crochet Toran and attached it to the Sentiment inside...

and
Prairie Fairy Friday - More than one Fold Card

oh ya... and below is a pic of a tissue paper flower I tried... HAd seen one made by Paru at her place and that was perfect... Mine still requires help... but I'm sure slowly and steadily will reach there...

Finally though i did not put the words in because I thought would personalise it later....  BTW I made those little flowers ... so tell me if u like them....

I think this card Can be an Anniversary Card for an "Awesome Twosome" Couple or a Birthday Card to your Best Buddy....

The next one is a simple Birthday Card... with Handmade Flowers !!!!!
